Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken
  • 1 package Wide Noodles
  • 3-4 Green Onions ( chopped)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, cover chicken with water and boil until done thoroughly. Remove chicken from water to cool.
  • Reserve water or now known as chicken broth.
  • When chicken is cooled completely, remove cooked chicken from bone (throwing skin away).
  • Bring chicken broth (water) to a boil.
  • Use this broth to cook noodles according to package directions.
  • Do not drain.
  • When noodles are done, add chicken, onion, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Serve with crackers if desired.
