1 package Brownie Mix

3 Tbsp. Oil

1 Tbsp. Water

1 Egg

1 cup Cherry Pie Filling

Chocolate Frosting

Prepare brownies according to the package, adding the pie filling.

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake at 375 degrees for 16 minutes. Let cool.

Remove paper from cupcakes.

Put 2 cupcakes together (bottoms together) with frosting to form logs.

Frost sides, leaving ends of logs (top of cupcakes) unfrosted.

With fork tines, make lines in frosting to resemble bark.

Decorate each log with a red construction paper hatchet and write “I cannot tell a lie” on it. Great for Washington'·s Birthday!
