Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yields: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup Nuts ( optional)
  • 14 oz. Chocolate Chips

Directions

  • Beat butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla lightly until light and fluffy.
  • Add dry ingredients, blend well.
  • Stir in chips and nuts.
  • Place in teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet, 2" apart.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes
