Microwave Ghosts

Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • ¼ tsp cream of tartar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ superfine sugar
  • 3 tbsp confectioners sugar
  • mini chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 200-degrees.
  • Beat 6 Egg Whites until foaming. Add ¼ tsp. Cream of Tartar and ¼ tsp. Salt. Continue beating.
  • Add 1 ½ cup superfine Sugar, l Tbsp. at a time, until stiff peaks form.
  • Sift 3 Tbsp confectioners Sugar over mixture and gently fold in.
  • Spoon meringues into plastic bag with 2 inches cut off a comer and squeeze “ghosts” onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Position mini chocolate chips as eyes.
  • Bake 2 hours. Tum oven off and leave ghosts in for 6 hours or so.
