Venison Chili

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • ½ Onion (large purple)
  • 3-4 cups Cubed (small) Venison.
  • 3 ½ cup Hot Water
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 small Green Bell Pepper ( chopped)
  • 1 (8 oz.) Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp. Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Hot Sauce
  • ¾ tsp.Sugar
  • 1 (14 oz.) Diced Tomatoes

Directions

  • Saute onions and venison in oil until brown.
  • Pour in crock-pot.
  • Add water, garlic powder, bell pepper, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, oregano, cumin, hot sauce, sugar and tomatoes.
  • Put on slow simmer for 4-6 hours.
